Health Informatics Consultant

Michael E Campbell, MPP, MSCIS, CPHQ, is an experienced health informatics consultant with expertise in HEDIS®, HL7 FHIR®, software development, data management and interoperability. As a managing member of Indicina, he collaborates with healthcare organizations to design, implement, and validate information systems for healthcare performance metrics.

 

With a background focused on health policy, agile project management, data modeling, and data validation, Michael brings practical experience and strategic insights to CareMetrix as it optimizes clients’ quality operations and compliance. He holds advanced degrees in public policy from Duke University and computer information systems from Boston University, which are complemented by professional certifications in healthcare quality and FHIR.

Tom Lauzon

Chief Executive Officer

Tom is an IT executive with more than 40 years of experience in data processing, software development, and information management in the banking and healthcare industries. His healthcare experience of more than 34 years spans the gamut of planning, design, development, and implementation of software systems. He has served on the Health Information Exchange Advisory Board for the states of New Hampshire, Iowa, and Illinois, as well as on the Michigan Health Information Technology Commission and the Michigan Association of Health Plans Board of Directors. He was named a CIO Magazine Top 100 Award Recipient for five years. Tom has extensive knowledge of the health IT needs of physician groups, hospitals, and health plans.

 

Tom was previously Executive Vice President and CIO of Meridian Health Plan, Inc. (formerly Health Plan of Michigan), where he succeeded in moving the organization from the startup phase to a $2.3 billion company. Prior to that, he was founder and president of the IT consulting company Computer Development Group, where he engineered practice management software targeted to independent physicians, clinics, and healthcare systems, in addition to heading up marketing, budgeting, and other operational efforts. He has also served as a systems and programming manager for Michigan Healthcare Corporation and president and owner of Technical Data Solutions.

 

As CareMetrix’s President & CEO, Tom is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company, including new business development, finance, marketing, and operations.

Chief Operating Officer

Nicole is an experienced leader in software sales, customer cultivation, and relationship management. Her expertise, along with her passion for improved outcomes, has enabled her to help stakeholders of varying sizes and needs navigate the integration of data and technology. Her skill set includes product strategy, lead generation, competitive analysis, digital communication and marketing, and business development.
 
Nicole was previously territory manager for LexisNexis, where she was positioned consistently in the top 10 percent among the LexisNexis global salesforce and honored in the Circle of Excellence for exceeding sales and new business quotas multiple times. She previously held sales and account manager roles at several companies, including Restaurant Technologies and Jtech Communications. She is always a top-ranking professional and exceeds sales goals in every role. 

 

Nicole served as Chief Operating Officer at Wellopp, a company dedicated to reducing hospital readmissions by addressing social determinants of health (SDOH) through patient engagement. In this role, she helped lead efforts to implement digital screening tools that identified non-clinical factors impacting patient outcomes. Her work focused on reducing readmissions by connecting patients with resources tailored to their unique social needs, such as housing, transportation, and food insecurity.  
 
As Chief Operating Officer, Nicole oversees strategic growth and fosters “intrapreneurial” leadership within CareMetrix. She’s responsible for client success: ensuring that clients are delighted with the product and CareMetrix.

Chief Technology Officer

Shridhar is a seasoned IT leader with an established track record of technology innovation across the healthcare, automotive, finance, and manufacturing industries. In a career spanning more than four decades, he has managed multiple global programs with 24/7 execution, handling analysis and design, and implementing value stream improvements at the project and enterprise levels. Recent areas of focus have included tailoring technology platforms to provide prescription-drug management solutions, developing solutions for integrating clinical workflows for physicians, pharmacists, and patients, and working with payers to identify opportunities leveraging their various quality measure scores. 

 

Shridhar formerly served as Chief Technology Officer for Meridian Health Plan, where he delivered, from concept to commercialization, a platform that connected 65,000 pharmacies, more than 1 million members and extensive physician and hospital networks to process prescriptions and care-coordination needs.
